We’re here to help you follow Jesus, grow in faith, and find real community.

God’s Kingdom is bigger than one language—and a church should reflect its neighborhood. That’s why we’re growing into a multicultural church family: one body in Christ, united in mission, with ministry in both English and Spanish as we prepare for a future Spanish-language service.

Need a fresh spark for your faith? It’s easy to feel disconnected from God’s purpose in a busy week. Watch our latest Sunday teaching for clear Bible teaching and a practical next step you can live out. Whether you’re at home, at work, or out in our community, these messages help you apply the gospel to real life.

You weren’t just saved to believe—you were called into something bigger. Jesus invites each of us to bring healing, hope, and truth to our neighborhoods, our church, and the world.
At Community Alliance Church, that mission shows up in simple, practical ways: welcoming guests, caring for people in hard seasons, supporting kids and students, serving behind the scenes in worship and tech, joining local outreach in Richmond and San Pablo, and praying with others.
What does serving look like at Community Alliance Church?
Serving means joining a team that helps our church love Jesus and love our neighbors in real, practical ways. Most roles are simple and learnable, and we’ll help you find a good fit that matches your gifts and your schedule.
Find your place. Join the mission.

What is Church Huddle?
Church Huddle is our monthly meet-up for anyone who serves—or wants to explore it. We pray, share key updates, and then break into ministry teams for training and support. If you’re new, this is the best way to meet leaders and find your next step.
When and where is Church Huddle?
Church Huddle meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM in the Worship Room at Community Alliance Church in Richmond, CA (near the San Pablo border). We meet from 6:30–7:00 PM for prayer and updates, then move into ministry team breakouts at 7:00 PM.
How does the Care Team serve our church family?
The Care Team helps people feel cared for during life’s biggest moments and hardest weeks. This includes hospitality, meals, memorials, weddings, baptisms, and practical support when someone is hurting. If you naturally notice needs and like helping in tangible ways, this is a great fit.
Typical ways to serve: hospitality, meals, event support, care follow-up.
What local outreach does your church do in Richmond and San Pablo?
Our Missions Team connects our church to local outreach in the East Bay, including partnerships like Good News Club and Courtside Ministries. We also support global mission through the Christian & Missionary Alliance. If you want to serve our city and share Jesus beyond Sunday, start here.
Typical ways to serve: outreach events, acts of compassion, partner support, mission updates, prayer for workers.
What is the Prayer Team and what do you pray for?
The Prayer Team prays for real needs in our church and community—families, health situations, spiritual growth, city leaders, and mission partners. If you want to pray with others regularly and learn to pray with confidence, you are welcome here.
Typical ways to serve: prayer gatherings, prayer follow-up, praying with people after services.
What does the Worship & Tech Team do?
Worship & Tech serves our Sunday gatherings through music and production—vocals, instruments, sound, slides, and livestream. We work together so services are clear, warm, and easy to engage, especially for guests who are new to church.
Typical ways to serve: music, sound, slides, livestream, setup/teardown.
No. If you’re exploring our church, you’re welcome to start serving in a role that fits. Some roles (especially with kids/students or leadership) have specific requirements, but you don’t need to “have it all together” to begin.
Most roles serve 1–2 Sundays per month. We also encourage our monthly Church Huddle. Our goal is to help you find a healthy rhythm that fits your current season of life.
Yes. Anyone serving with kids or students completes a background check and basic training. We keep the process simple and clear, and we’ll walk you through it.

Because we’ve experienced the love, hope, and mercy of Jesus firsthand, we’re compelled to make Him known in our neighborhoods and among the nations.
