At Community Alliance Church, we understand the profound impact grief can have on your life. Our GriefShare group offers a safe, nurturing environment where you can find support and healing alongside others who understand what you are going through. This 13-week program is designed to help you navigate the complexities of grief with compassion and understanding.
What is GriefShare?
A support group to help you move through the grief process
GriefShare is more than just a support group—it’s a community dedicated to helping you move through the grief process. Each session, you’ll learn what to expect in the coming days, understand what’s “normal” in grief, and discover coping strategies for dealing with its unpredictable nature. Our supportive environment ensures you’re not alone on this journey.

- When: Wednesdays, 6:30-8:30 PM, starting June 5, 2024
- Where: Room 10 at Community Alliance Church, located on the border of San Pablo and Richmond, CA.
- GriefShare Workbook: $20 each, scholarships available.
How GriefShare helps you
Videos That Encourage
Each session begins with a 30-minute video featuring grief experts and real-life stories from those who’ve faced loss. These videos are designed to manage your emotions, provide clarity, and answer your pressing questions about grief.
Supportive Discussions
Following the video, you’ll engage in group discussions about the content and share your personal experiences. This interaction offers comfort, normalizes your grief, and provides a supportive network to help you heal.
Helpful Book to Guide You
Your participant guide serves as a road map on your grief journey. This book will assist you in processing your emotions and experiences and equip you with strategies to manage complicated grief effectively.
